Peter F. de Vos

Chairman, CEO


Mr. de Vos is Chairman and CEO of TVIG. Prior to joining TVIG, Mr. de Vos served for eight years as Head of U.S. Investment Banking for RBC Capital Markets, the corporate and investment banking arm of RBC, the world's 10th - largest bank by market capitalization. At RBC, he oversaw the firm's investment banking businesses in the U.S., and built a team that was recognized by Investment Dealer's Digest as "Mid-Market Investment Bank of the Year" in 2009. Mr. de Vos joined RBC Capital Markets in 2001 upon the firm's acquisition of Minneapolis-based Dain Rauscher Wessels, where he had served as the head of investment banking and helped guide the firm through its acquisition by RBC. Formerly, Mr. de Vos was with Stephens, Inc., Alex Brown & Sons and Morgan Stanley.


After graduating from the U.S. Naval Academy with merit, Mr. de Vos joined the U.S. Submarine service, where he was licensed by the Nuclear Regulatory Agency to run nuclear reactors. He served aboard two submarines and also as the Washington, D.C.-based assignment officer for all nuclear-trained submarine officers. After leaving the Navy, Mr. de Vos attended the Stanford Graduate School of Business and graduated as an Arjay Miller Scholar.


Mr. de Vos serves on the board of the United States Navy Academy Foundation and previously served on the Board of the Stanford Graduate School of Business Trust.

Richard H. Ector

Vice Chairman

Founder, Director


Mr. Ector is Vice Chairman of TVIG. The experience he has gained in over 35 years of management, project management and engineering in the energy industry allows Mr. Ector to understand project details while focusing on big picture issues. He has experience in both fossil fuel-fired and nuclear power plants in addition to the wind energy projects that TVIG has constructed.


Mr. Ector founded TVIG in 1998. He began his career in the energy sector as chief engineer on an US Navy nuclear submarine, followed by ten years in the commercial nuclear industry, culminating as Assistant Site Director and a Senior Reactor Operator at Watts Bar Nuclear Plant for the Tennessee Valley Authority. Mr. Ector also served for fourteen years as a diplomat with the US Department of State, focusing on international nuclear proliferation issues.


Mr. Ector has a Bachelor of Science degree from the US Naval Academy.

David Kiefer

Construction Manager


Mr. Kiefer is a Construction Manager for TVIG. He has more than 35 years of experience in heavy civil, industrial and wind farm, construction. His extensive experience in civil engineering and construction has proven to be a great asset to TVIG in the areas of constructability analysis, engineering review, planning, estimating and construction management. He was the Construction Site Manager for the 91.5 MW AES-Laurel Mountain wind farm project built on a West Virginia mountain ridgeline and the 15 MW First Wind Project on the former Bethlehem Steel property in Buffalo, New York, a designated Brownfield site. Prior to joining TVIG Mr. Kiefer managed the construction of four (4) large wind farm construction projects totaling over 425 MW of installed capacity, for White Construction and Siemens Energy, Inc.


During his career Mr. Kiefer has held the titles of Senior Project Manager, Senior Project Engineer, Construction Site Manager, Superintendent and was the owner of his own contracting business for 13 years. He was a Licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Indiana, Kentucky & Pennsylvania.


Mr. Kiefer holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY.
