Munnsville Wind Farm - Munnsville, NY

TVIG built a 34.5 MW project for Airticity in 2007. The project consists of twenty-three GE 1.5 XLE Wind Turbine Generators on a site covered in soft, rolling hills in an Upstate New York agricultural area with many farms and dairies present. To protect considerations of property owners, several challenges required extra care with access design for minimal impact on agriculture. TVIG was required to meet stringent New York Department of Agricultural and Market requirements. We worked closely with authorities to execute the project with no violations.

TVIG was the BOP general contractor for roads, foundations, turbine erection, collection system and the substation.
